About the event
The empowering one-day Threshold Workshop gives women the tools and techniques to look freshly at their careers and devise a practical action plan to achieve their goals.
Whatever you want to achieve in your working life, taking the time to plan your route to success is crucial.
This workshop is aimed at women who identify as a person of colour and would like to work in a small supportive group of women facing potentially similar challenges. We have used the acronym BAME (Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic) in the description but appreciate there is no way to appropriately label a group who's life experience will differ vastly from person to person.
Includes:
- Visualising your ideal career
- Setting tangible and achievable goals
- Assessing your current situation
- Mapping out the milestones to succeed
- Peer support and feedback
Taking time to think about what really matters to you in your career is crucial if you want to be fully motivated and effective. Participants leave having developed a viable strategy that gives them the confidence to put their plans into action. The supportive yet challenging environment enables people to question their own and others’ self-limiting assumptions. The group setting includes peer coaching, support and networking, providing the opportunity to make valuable connections that often continue beyond the workshop.
The workshop is targeted at anyone who identifies as a BAME (Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic) woman.
